Legend of St. Anthony Preaching to the Fish
St. Anthony went to the city of Rimini to preach to the people. No one listened to him and ignored him. So he went to the Marecchia River and began to preach to the fish. When he did this, thousands of fish came gathering around as if listening to Anthony. People were so astonished by this miracle that they too began to listen to St. Anthony’s sermon.
