The Dismissal Collection — Victorian Coffin Plaque Print Set

Description

Depart in peace. Preferably with some ceremony.

The Dismissal Collection is a set of four printable coffin plaques inspired by ornate Victorian funerary metalwork, old Catholic expressions, and the peculiar beauty of a dramatic farewell.

Designed to resemble aged, engraved bronze coffin plaques, each piece combines elaborate nineteenth-century ornament with a phrase centered on peace, departure, or the journey ahead.

Display one beside the door as an unusually solemn send-off, scatter them throughout a gothic gallery wall, or hang the complete collection together for maximum ecclesiastical drama.

The collection includes:

Go In Peace
A simple blessing—and perhaps the most polite possible instruction to leave.

Pax Vobiscum
Peace be with you.

Quo Vadis?
Where are you going?

Jesu cum Maria sit nobis in via
May Jesus with Mary be with us on the way.
