I have been trying to embrace minimalism within my life. You can read my series on my progress of the Catholic Minimalism Challenge inspired by the book Not of This World: A Catholic Guide to Minimalism by Sterling Jaquith.
I like pretty quotes decorating the walls of my home. Especially quotes that inspire me. So, to help motivate me with being more minimalist, I have made the quotes “The closer one approaches to God, the simpler one gets” and “Thank God for the things I do not own” from St. Teresa of Avila into a printable 8×10 pictures to help remind me of what the goal of minimalism is to me. I think these quotes are perfect for reminders for minimalism and what our focus should be on.
