For this pass Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception, our family made these cute little Mary Mass bags. This is an easy, quick, and budget-friendly craft perfect for any Marian feast day or just for fun craft to do with the kids.

Supplies needed are:
– mini canvas tote bags. The ones I have are from Hobby Lobby, measure 10″ x 8.5″, and was about $6.50 for a 4 pack. These seem very close to mine and seem like a great deal if you need more.
– iron on transfer sheets, I used this one
– iron
– scissors
- Print out some pictures of Mother Mary onto the iron on transfer sheets. I got my images from Google.
- Then cut out and iron on the image of Mary onto the front of the bag. I highly recommend you make sure to get 100% cotton totes. I made the mistake of buying cheap dollar store totes that completely melted when trying to iron on the image!
3. Then you can have the kids can draw the Miraculous Medal symbol or whatever else on the back of the bag using the glitter glue. Tip: draw out your design with a pencil before you start using the glitter glue.
4. Next step is to dress it up! You can also add stars, rhinestones, or any other embellishments you want to the front or back.
Now your kids will have their own special little bag to take with them to Mass! Hope you and your little ones enjoy!
